Assignment:

Design Challenge given to join a research lab at UC San Diego
 

  • Design a book light

  • Should spend less than 5hrs on this task

  • Sketches or CAD are recommended for visual aid

  • Share in a presentation:

    • Specifically, what is the design​

    • Why it was designed this way

    • Some insight into how you would make it (types of parts, materials etc.)

  1. Clip with torsion spring

  2. Rechargeable battery, USB-C port, inside casing

  3. Power Button (click multiple times to cycle through brightness settings)
